When will my item ship out?

WE SHIP NATIONWIDE-US ONY!  Our gourmet biscuits are baked fresh, packaged and shipped frozen.  USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground are our preferred carriers for all shipments from Mama Biscuit’s Gourmet Biscuits®. Orders received before Thursday 12 pm EST will shipped the following Monday or Tuesday (depending on holiday shipping schedule).

 When will my item arrive?

We ship on Monday and Tuesday by either USPS of UPS Ground (1-3 day delivery) within the U.S. Although, your order could arrive earlier when using FedEx Ground.

What is the cost of shipping? CURRENTLY IS $10 FLAT RATE + $2.95 HANDLING FEE OR FREE SHIPPING (Offered occasionally)

The team at Mama Biscuit has done much research and prides itself on keeping the cost of shipping perishables at a minimum. For the consumer we want you to have the best shipping options without comprising the product.

Which mail carriers do you use?

Currently Mama Biscuit uses UPS and USPS Priority Mail. Shipment speeds depend on the options and destinations specified for shipping. A tracking number is emailed to the buyer once the package is ready to ship. A special shipping and handling charge applies to all shipped gourmet biscuit orders.  Shipping costs will be calculated once items are placed in the cart and the “ship to” address is specified.  During the warmer months we ask for food safety reasons we ask that someone be there to retrieve your gourmet goodies and refrigerate upon receipt.  In the event someone is not there your package will be left.  Any special shipping instructions should be included in the message section at check-out.  

How will my Gourmet Biscuits arrive?

Your products should be frozen, partially frozen, cool to the touch or thawed when you open the package. Packages may contain partially-dissipated or thawed gel packs. It's ok. This is common in the shipping process. Biscuits are fully baked and will thaw in transit. You can expect your biscuits to arrive fresh and fully thawed. Thawed biscuits can be re-frozen.  Each order is very carefully packed and individually bagged and sealed for freshness and protection.  The biscuits are placed into a corrugated box for their protection along with instructions on how to serve your gourmet goodies.  Once your biscuits arrive, please keep them in the cello bags, and refrigerated/frozen until serving day.  These bags do a great job of keeping our gourmet biscuits fresh and free of moisture. Mama Biscuit provides suggested reheating instructions with our perishable products. Prior to serving, remove the biscuits from the individual bags and enjoy.   It is the responsibility of the consumer to follow all health and safety guidelines when thawing and handling products. Biscuits are best served at room temperature or warmed,and can be thawed first.

Microwave for 15-30 seconds (according to watt variations) and serve.

We do not recommend storing longer than 7 days in the refrigerator.

Biscuits can be frozen  up to 4 monthsbut fully cooked biscuits should only be thawed and re-frozen once.

For health and safety reasons  please  reheat to an internal  temperature of 165°F.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we do not ship internationally, but hope to in the near future. Shipping is only available within the continental United States.  Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or any APO is not currently available.  We can ship to P.O. Boxes within the continental US only (however, it is your responsibility to track your order, and pick-up within a timely manner the same day it is delivered).  Additionally, we will be happy to deliver to rural routes with complete addresses and telephone numbers.

Can I order over the phone?

No, all orders are placed through our website as we are an e-commerce shop only.

What types of payments do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.

Is the credit card checkout system secure?

Yes, the checkout process for Mama Biscuit Gourmet Biscuits™ happens entirely on Bigcommerce. Please refer to Bigcommerce's website for up-to-date information on their security policies and procedures.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that unexpected circumstances arise and you may need to cancel.  For orders of non-custom items.  I ask that you contact me by the Wednesday by 5:00 pm before your product ship date of Monday.

Cancellations of orders of non-regularly made or “custom” items require a minimum of 72 hour advance notice.  Cancellation fees will apply as these items are made just for you and will likely be discarded.

I'm having issues with placing my order. What do I do?

What are the locations and hours of your shop?

Mama Biscuit’s commercial kitchen is located in Maryland, but we are strictly an on-line  and wholesale shop currently. 

Can I make a suggestion for items for Mama Biscuit’s Gourmet Biscuits to carry?

We are always looking for innovative biscuit creations, for our on-line shop. Please let us know what you are looking for, and we will consider it for the future.  Additionally, if we use one of your creations we will name the biscuit after you. Our personal customized order section will be available soon for your enjoyment.

Do you offer custom orders, pricing for bulk quantity, or wholesale ordering?

Yes. custom orders are anything over 2 dozen.  For all custom, bulk quantity and wholesale orders please email us at

Do you offer recurring ordering?

Yes, Mama Biscuit will ship a ½ dozen of gourmet biscuits directly to your door on a recurring bi-monthly basis at a discounted price (+shipping).  This give you a chance to taste any new flavor creations that may not be released to the public yet.  You can cancel your order anytime as long as you do so before the 15th of month.  

What if there is severe weather? Will it cause a delay in my shipment?

Should there be possible severe weather alerts Mama Biscuit reserves the right to temporarily refrain from processing orders based on severe weather in the transit process.   Customers are notified immediately via phone and/or email of the slight delay.  Usually occurring in winter weather, typical delays are 1-2 business days.

Can I set up a gift registry with Mama Biscuit’s Gourmet Biscuits™?

Yes, it will be offered in the future.

Can I return an item?

Due to the high perishable nature of our product, Mama Biscuit’s Gourmet Biscuits® are shipped incredibly carefully, in insulated packages/custom coolers, and gel packs with stringent “perishable” shipping specifications through your designated carrier. That said, unfortunately anything that we send out may not be sent back to us for a return. But on occasions were we deem necessary we will ask you to ship the biscuits back to us at your expense. 

All sales are final for food.

What do I do if my items are damaged?

We take precaution when packaging our products, but understand that damages can occur during shipment. If products arrive to you damaged, please contact us immediately upon receipt of receiving the package. Please email us a photo of the damaged product so that we can contact our carrier.

My package was never delivered. Can you send me another package?

For lost or stolen packages:

Please contact Mama Biscuit’s Gourmet Biscuits® within 4 hours for lost or stolen packages. Our team will be happy to resolve the matter. Please ship using these methods at your own risk. Mama Biscuit cannot be responsible for lost or untraceable packages. For packages with undeliverable address or absent recipient Mama Biscuit’s Gourmet Biscuits is not responsible for packages that were undeliverable due to an incorrect address that was inputted at checkout or because the recipient was absent. If the package is returned to Mama Biscuit’s Gourmet Biscuits™ due to an undeliverable address or absent recipient, we will contact the customer. At that time, the customer can choose to submit payment for Mama Biscuit Gourmet Biscuit’s™ to send it to the recipient again. Please be aware that UPS makes up to three delivery attempts, excluding weekends and holidays. Please visit for their current policies on redelivery.

Will you share my personal information?

No, Mama Biscuit’s Gourmet Biscuits® is committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect on the site to make shopping at as simple as possible and to improve the overall shopping experience on the site. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone. Period.
