Mama Biscuit’s Biscuit Pudding w/hard sauce


4 Mama Biscuit’s ready-to-eat biscuits

4 eggs
1 cup milk and heavy cream mixture
1 cup sugar
¼ cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ cup raisins
½ chopped apples

1. Cube biscuits and place in greased pan

2. Spread raisins and apples over cube biscuits 

3. In a large bowl whisk together eggs, milk, sugar and melted butter

4. Whisk in vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg

5. Pour mixture over biscuit cubes. Let sit for 5 minutes

6. For best results use a water bath --place another baking dish on a baking tray and fill with one cup of warm water. Gently place covered (loose foil) biscuit pudding on top and place in oven at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown.
